As a Destination Wedding Videographer I work in a manner that is 100% transparent to the wedding couple, with no hidden surprises. Ensuring our expectations are aligned with clear communication prior to the wedding.
Occasionally, the bride and/or groom have questions they are too afraid to ask their Romanian Destination Wedding Videographer in person, over the phone or via email. I hope by compiling this list of Frequently Asked Questions, it puts you at ease.
If I have omitted any question you feel is important to you and your special day, please let me know and I will gladly consider adding it.

What style is your wedding videography?I consider my wedding videography style to be a combination of storytelling and cinematic wedding videography . It is less intrusive to you, the wedding couple and your guests, and allows me to capture the best moments of your wedding without becoming a burden.

My fiance doesn’t like videos… how will you handle that ?Ohhhh don’t worry, I get it!! No one feels naturally comfortable in front of a camera. (Not even me! You put me in front of a camera, and I have the amazing ability to instantly look like a gremlin.) But never fear, that’s why I’m here! The last thing I want is for your video experience to feel awkward or forced. I focus on getting to know my clients and knowing their personalities. I won’t make a couple of introverts do a bunch of jumping around and being extra lolol. I focus on direction rather than posing; giving you actions to do, questions to ask each other, really everything I can to help you focus on each other rather than me. Filming shouldn’t be something to dread. My goal is to make it one of your favorite memories together!!

Destination weddings are always a breath of fresh air for me and I thoroughly enjoy them! If you are debating having a destination wedding, don´t hesitate to contact me and ask about my availability and pricing.

How long before the wedding should we book you?My work calendar varies considerably, so to avoid disappoint I would recommend booking me 6 months to 1 year in advance. However, occasionally I may be booked for wedding videography 1 month in advance. In a nutshell, the sooner, the better!.
-
Can you hold the date?Unfortunately, I am unable to hold a date for your wedding without an initial deposit AND signed contract. As I am sure you can appreciate, I accept bookings on a first come/first served basis. So, if you are considering booking me as your wedding videographer, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Do I need a Wedding Planner in Romania?I would highly recommend it! Wedding planners will save you money, as they have a list of trusted suppliers they always work with. You both likely have full time jobs, and organising a wedding is no easy feat!

What happens once we have booked you?Once you have paid the deposit, your wedding date is then guaranteed in my diary and I will email you a “Wedding Videography Welcome Pack” along with a receipt, which will acknowledge your payment of the deposit, the amount received, the date and what the next steps are. This, of course, will vary, depending on your event requirements and the service you have booked.

What equipment do you use?Whilst the oven doesn´t make the chef, I am occasionally asked about the equipment I use. Which includes a heavy investment in the best Sony professional cameras, Sigma Art lenses, as well as a diverse range of sound recording equipment and gymbals to facilitate the most challenging environments. The quality of my work and that which I deliver to the client is of paramount importance. As such, on any wedding day, I always work with four cameras, one drone and backups of piece of gear I carry.
-
Will you give us the raw footage?Absolutely, I'd be happy to provide you with the raw footage. Please note that there is a nominal fee associated with the provision of raw footage. Feel free to let me know if you'd like more details about this.

How long does it take to get our videos?Delivery time depends on my work schedule, as all weddings are processed in chronological order. It may take from 5 to 90 days to receive your final wedding videos. Once your videos are ready, you will be sent a link where you will be able to download the files.
-
Do you cover wedding photography too?No, I don´t. However, I can certainly make suggestions on photographers I have worked with and trust. If you are considering photography for your wedding, please make this known when you contact me.

Do we need to provide you with a meal at the reception? If I work 10 hours or more, I would really appreciate it if you did! Because at the end of the day, I am usually as hungry and thirsty as everyone else. And feeding my appetite will allow me to continue working with the same energy and enthusiasm throughout the day. The meal does not have to be as your guest menu, as I comprehend you want to keep costs to a minimum. Many caterers offer “vendor meals” as an option. However, it is very important to inform the caterer or the venue providing the meals that I should be served as early as possible, so that I finish my meal before the guests and can continue shooting.
